As a reminder, the latest Geekbench scores prove that the A11 chip inside the iPhone X outperforms the latest 13-inch MacBook Pro. Any thoughts of our smartphones being underpowered compared to laptops is now an irreverent idea. If anything, to me this points to a future (A12, A13?) based fan-less MacBook Pro. Throw in an HDR capable OLED display, Face ID and poof... the perfect machine.
