Ultra HD Update

Samsung recently launched their first Ultra HD Blu-Ray Player, the UBD-K8500. At $400 it's a reasonable price for a lot of underlying cutting edge technology. But for the average consumer this kind of price range is hard to swallow.

Doubling as a very capable media player, here are the two codec specs to focus on:

Considering normal Blu-Ray has a maximum resolution of 1920x1080i59.94 (that 'i' stands for interlaced, and if you don't know what that is you're probably born after 1999) Ultra HD Blu-Ray is a huge step in the right direction.
